For the thrill-seekers in the family, CoCo Key is home to four large, fast and exciting slides — Shark Slam, Gator Gush, Barracuda Blast and Pelican Plunge. Shark Slam and Gator Gush are both full-speed body slides; Barracuda Blast and Pelican Plunge are raft rides that feature bold drops and serious splashes. The Coral Reef Cavern, a large activity pool with water basketball, provides for tamer entertainment and a beautiful backdrop, and an animated coral reef is projected on the surrounding walls, giving the pool an under-the-sea feel. Tubing fans will appreciate the Coconut Grove Adventure River, which features a fast tube ride through the island with surprises around every bend.
Designed for younger children, Parrot’s Perch is filled with fun, age-appropriate activities. This popular area includes small water slides, water cannons and dumping buckets that dump hundreds of gallons of water each hour. This attraction features a zero-depth entry area, safe for inexperienced swimmers.
